The DSO successfully transitions to the Tessitura patron management system, regains an enthusiastic subscriber base, and has one of the strongest seasons in their history.

After a difficult season cut short by an orchestra strike, the DSO re-emerged ready to bring in a new audience and invigorate the patrons who had stood by them.  This included committing to Tessitura, a central customer management database that would allow a holistic view of each patron and their purchase history with the DSO.  KlearSky was brought in as Tessitura experts to guide the organization through the transition and assist with the potential roadblocks that often accompany an enterprise system transition.  The project was completed on-time and within budget, and the DSO had the most successful single ticket sales day in their entire history using the Tessitura database.

Having celebrated its 125th anniversary in December 2012, the DSOa is known for trailblazing performances, visionary maestros and collaborations with the world’s foremost musical artists. Making its home at historic Orchestra Hall at the Max M. Fisher Music Center, one of America’s most acoustically perfect concert halls, the DSO actively pursues a mission to impact and serve the community through music.
